22 years at ICANotes

I spent 22 years at ICANotes.

When I started, we shipped the software on CD-ROMs. I rebuilt it into a cloud platform. Along the way, I built everything from telehealth systems to electronic prescribing to CI/CD pipelines. The company sold at the end of 2025.

I'm still there, making sure the transition goes smoothly. But for the first time in my career, I'm starting to look up and think about what's next.

Here's what I know: I'm a generalist. I go deep on whatever the problem needs, even if I've never done it before. That's usually the most interesting part. And right now, AI is making this the most interesting time to be a technologist in decades.

So I'm in exploration mode. No grand plan. Just curiosity and a bias toward building.

If you're going through something similar, or if you're working on something interesting in AI or tech, I'd love to connect.
